Glotech Repairs are a national home appliance repair provider, working across all regions of England.

Operating since 1975, they offer fast and reliable domestic appliance repairs for electric and gas appliances such as ovens, fridges, and washing machines.

The Problem

Glotech Repairs began as a London based domestic appliance repair business but quickly grew and started to aim for national success. They approached us in early 2016 to help improve their search visibility on a national scale.

Our Solution

We put together a full SEO package that encompassed technical work, content creation, and outreach.

In terms of technical SEO, we carried out an audit that identified all technical issues present on the site, before rolling out monthly housekeeping that fixed these errors and kept the site maintained. We also optimised landing pages for locations around the country, using keyword research to tell us where was worth targeting.

Content was another central part of our campaign for Glotech Repairs, with regular content creation and on-site optimisation driving new traffic to the site.

New pages were created to target specific keyword gaps and a blog audit was carried out to improve blog performance.

Our outreach activities involved a consistent approach to building Glotech Repairs’ presence in local directories and publications. Each month of outreach involved building more links in areas that Glotech Repairs were targeting, increasing their local relevancy and visibility.

The final cornerstone of our campaign plan was content marketing. In our three years working with Glotech Repairs, we have ideated and produced four pieces that have gained widespread coverage from the national press, industry magazines, and other online publications. These have generated backlinks from high authority sites while also increasing Glotech Repairs’ general brand awareness.
