The company is growing and they sought the help of Custard to help to expand their online presence in both the UK and US markets through social media.
Distinctive Chesterfields approached Custard in October 2016 to aid with their digital services including paid Facebook campaigns. We were asked to increase traffic to the website whilst reducing the cost per click generated by their current adverts as well as to increase engagement.
The client also wanted to drive more visitors to their UK and USA showrooms, raising awareness in the local area.
The social team put together a strategy to achieve their KPIs on both the UK and USA Facebook advertising accounts. We segmented their audience by demographics, locations, ages and interests, and devised targeted campaigns which we monitored and tweaked over time to maximise results.
In three months, we drove 56% more traffic to the site compared to the previous year, and reduced the cost per click by 12%.
We also reduced the cost per all actions that people made because of the ad (including likes, link clicks and comments) by more than half which is now working out at around 10p per action.
